Have you been weighing your options lately? Or maybe, have you been weighing your options for a very long time? Carefully weighing each pro and con to making much needed change, never sure which direction to go on the path, yet plagued by the nagging feeling that something just has to change? Have you looked deep within only to turn away from the raw truth of the situation, the demons of fear rearing their ugly heads and scaring you away? Have you asked yourself the question, the most important question? What do I need to do in order to move forward? It’s a tough question and usually the answer is not what we would like it to be. For instance, the answer is seldom to stay right where you are, slogging it out, day after day, miserable or not. It usually has something to do with making some much needed change, getting rid of the old, making space for the new, and doing all that in spite of what others may think or do. Phew. It’s going to take some work!
Notice your breath right now. Right this very moment. Are you holding it? Are you breathing shallowly? If so, how long has this been going on for, or has it become the new normal? When we are living in anxious anticipation, struggling within our current reality, yet unable to make steps to change… we often lose the deep connection to our breath. Remember, our breath, particularly when it is full and slow and deep, grounds and centers us. It brings us back to ourselves and helps to renew our connection to the Universal Divine.
Breathe.
So, what do you need to do in order to move forward. Yes, that.
Do it.
